We approach handicapping with 2 Principles: Discipline
& Money Management
This is about investing your money in something that MUST
give a better return than the Stock Market.
The goal is to double our bankroll every season, giving us
a 100% return on our investment yearly. We are very happy
with half of this, but we must have Goals.
Ideally our customer will play between 3-6% of their bankroll
on any particular play, given its strength; however, we NEVER
suggest stepping out and trying to win that one BIG play.
Nor do we suggest trying to have one quick big week and then
quitting.
The only REAL way to win at this game is to be prepared to
lose and lose about 40% of the time on good days. This is
not about emotions; this is about playing out your bankroll
on PAPER (like your stock portfolio), not worrying about when
you are down and not getting excited about when you are up.
We highly suggest our customers' put aside a bankroll,
split their sports up in different accounts, use 3-4 different
books for line shopping and get ready to GRIND IT OUT, because
the cycles will come both ways, but we WILL end up winning!
Money Management is forgotten word in Sports Investing!
All the GSP cappers approach their sports with a long term
handicapping style. There are very few big Games, like Games
of the Year and there are Never locks, or games that will
100% win. We in our best years are going to hit 60%, so managing
your money through the cycles is crucial.
99% of bettors, when down or in a slump find themselves chasing
their money or putting more money on games. Our Approach is
the complete reverse. We like to run when it's hot and walk
or even crawl when its cold.
Most people get stuck on the win % of handicappers, and albeit,
we will compete with everyone on win %, however, we do not
think, that is the most important thing.
The Most important thing to us is making sure we always
have enough money left to win in the long run. The best way
to do this is to play strong (on the higher end of the 3-6%)
when on a hot streak and light when going the other way.
All the cappers in our program have been playing
and working on their own systems for years. They
understand when they are in the ZONE or when they
